Did you have the original and if so is the XSTOW worth an upgrade in your opinion?

Ashland 's "Johnny the Fox" model in 100% Horween shell cordovan, except that I had them add a divider to make two sides in the cash pocket/sleeve using a thin piece of latigo. Of course, all in #8, although this in black is stunning. Will outlast my lifetime.

Just curious, how do people react when you pull that out at the checkout?

I use a noname folding wallet that perfectly fits my needs. Found in a small village in a noname shop when we were traveling across the country.
the cost was about 30-35 usd

sometimes you just need to travel with open eyes and open mind, and the perfect edc suddenly will find you:)

Over the last years I tried plenty. Trove Cash Wrap, MakakaOnTheRun Carbon, Slimpuro, Bellroy Card Pocket, and and and.

Now I finally landed the one that’s right for me. Roik Zip Coin https://www.myroik.com/en/zip-coin-grey-canary.html
Looks great, is really small but works properly. No rolling up of bills or fiddling around with narrow card slots. No Velcro or rubber bands, no card sliding (like with those carbon plates). Solid, classy, and functional.

Thanks, added to my wish list ... definitive a finalist when I need to replace my Don Bolso wallet. Both are very similar, also the Roik doesn't need the bills to be folded as the Don Bolso requires.

How does the zipper do? I've experience several wallets, also costly models, to have problems with the zipper after a short while ...

But it is what they claim

So far, so good. It’s about six months now. They use a plastic zipper, opposite to what you see on their pictures. Good choice as for those short openings they tend to last longer.
