Love the baseball glove coin pouch. Where did you get it?

Thank you. I picked 'er up a while back from a seller on eBay. He had some neat stuff. I forget his name though.

I use a Waterfield "Finn" wallet, primarily because I need to carry my passport all the time. It is zippable, which is nice, and easily accommodates about 20 cards (debit & credit for business & personal use, travel cards, hotel & frequent flyer, health, driving license, a couple of store loyalty cards), notes in a couple of currencies, receipts, a Trackr, an iPhone SIM tray poker, and, oh yeah, my passport. Overall, it is a bit under 4" x 6.5" x 1", which is pretty good for all the above.

I've tried a few different wallet designs out the past couple months. I do front pocket carry.

    Leftside:
    My old Kenneth Cole wallet
    Ebay ridge copy
    TUQ wallet from etsy

    Rightside:
    Grifiti Band Joes
    Flowfold Vanguard bi-fold

    Not pictured:
Custom card holder wallet from 'hammerthreadleather' on etsy
    Allett rfid leather slim sport

I've ended up using the flowfold over all the others. Super thin/light and holds 5-6 cards and cash, as well as a Zebra SL-F1 pen. Even with the pen its thinner than the old wallet, here's a comparison with both loaded (5 cards + cash).

Truthfully, if there wasn't a need to hold cash on occasion I'd be using the TUQ card holder. It's only some elastic, but the 3 slot design works great and it's so light/small I completely forget I have it in my pocket.

Love the Flowfold. I've had several sailcloth wallets in the past and this is the best around. LLBean price with shipping is the way to go.

No, but I get about a bit.

Even if I didn't I would still have to carry the passport to show that I have residence rights where I live. The travel does increase the number of payment and loyalty cards that I carry, plus the different currencies of course.

I’m looking for a new wallet but unsure of what direction to head in. I think I want to go with a front pocket wallet for Debit card, drivers license, and CCW permit along with a bit of cash. Then I’m thinking about a Manhattan portage coin purse, mission Wallet, or chums marsupial for the extra cards and extra sets of keys that I have to carry and letting that ride in my backpack. Lots of options in this thread and might be time to order several from Amazon and get them in my grubby little fingers to see which one I like the best and sent the rest back.

@Jdjernigan: I can understand and agree with the approach of splitting the load. I do it myself with some things like keys etc. For myself, I'd be uncomfortable putting other cards (credit, less often used ID, etc) in some sort of wallet that resides in my edc bag. Its just way too easy to get relaxed and leave said bag sitting by itself in a coffee shop, checked in at some venue like a museum, etc etc. In which case way too likely for said external wallet to stay in bag... possibly to disappear. Yes, loss of personal electronics would most likely also occur; also not a trivial problem. But easier to avoid the external wallet disappearing unexpectedly by keeping it on my person in say a jacket pocket or other...

    Just my thoughts.

    L'chaim!

I have a Saddleback large bifold with rfid protection which I love. I also carry a small robbery wallet with fake cards and a few small bills to give away in case of getting jacked.

Good point, but these cards I’ll keep in there won’t buy you anything. These are those random used but you never know type cards. I’m going to try taking pictures of those types of cards and using a photo of the cards in place of them but until I am able to use the picture the first time I want to still have access to the cards.

I ordered a couple of wallets and change purses last night so I’ll do some experimenting with them next week to see what I like best. Might abandon the idea all together.

Can you hit them with a lead sap in the shape of a maple leaf?

Just bought a Waskerd Manteo wallet and love it. Similar to the Bellroy Card Pocket but more robust, outside pocket and will hold cash folded only once. I love it so far.

I work for a Fortune 50 right now and a corporate security person came through about 8 months ago and his team tells everyone in every training that one of your biggest assets in a robbery is to have a throw down wallet based on stories and statistics that they have poured over and debated from some fairly extensive and prestigious LEO and Security backgrounds. They like the idea of CCW too........but not during work hours or on work properties.
