Been carrying this for a couple weeks now. First new truly EVERY day thing I carry in a while (I'm a creature of habit). District Leather Logan card case in #8 Horween Shell Cordovan. Gorgeous, minimal, and well made. Plus, it forces me to scale down what I carry. It's nice not sitting on a massive wallet (and I think my back hurts a lot less now at the end of the day!).

I carry a bifold wallet made from mylar sails with kevlar threads. Love it, so light, but it's slick. I wouldn't trust it in the back pocket without a button or something to keep it in. I keep it in the front where it lives without being creased at the corners from your butt. That material doesn't like to be crimped repeatedly in the same spot before it starts to crack.

I custom made this with a piece of sheet metal and cut out notches to hold the rubber band in place. I keep my credit card on one side for rfid protection and made the wallet slightly larger than a card to protect the edges.[IMG]

2 pieces of wool and some thread. Cost about a quarter to make.

Just took a Columbia wallet that I bought a couple years ago and never liked, cut up the inside and made it into a minimalist frankenwallet.

Recently switched to a Maxpedition Spartan. I really like it. If it was about .75-1" shorter, I would love it.

I switched to this 6-pocket horizontal from a basic 2 card design. So far I really do appreciate the extra room as I was originally worried it would be too thick. I haven't noticed the (small) increase in size and now I have more organization and a place for my cash and bus tickets/receipts/etc.

Currently an Eagle Creek slip bi fold, card stuff only. It's ok just a bit stiff. I really like a leather 3 fold.... have the T.H.E. with the flap. Great quality, but too fat even empty (for me).

Anyway to fit two in the id slot one for the license and one for the concealed weapons license? Not being able to find a exact answer on this has been keeping me from buying one. And does it it look like you could remove those RFID pieces they put in for more room to fit more cards?

A local maker is making my favorite wallets right now: Bison Made. Really nice Horween leather wallets. I bought one in Jet for a friend as a gift and had to order one for myself in Navy with Tan stitching. Went with the No. 6 for myself. I'm done with minimal wallets. I really don't notice enough difference between a minimalist wallet and a decent bifold with all the cards I need to carry to justify not just having a real wallet. That said, Bison Made has more minimalist designs than they do regular bifold ones.
