    Spyderco Endura or CRKT M16 in addition to a Leatherman Charge in a sheath and a SAK on my keychain.

    always carry a Gerber Applegate/fairbaine folder. I just love how it feels in my hand. I also have a Vic one handed trekker in my right cargo pocket.

    Today was the Sypderco Native until the mail lady came..then the Sypderco Salt I. It will probably be the salt for a little while as I like to break in the new guys.

    Leatherman folder... I forget the model number, but it's just a knife, no tools or such (unless you count the carabiner [sp])...

    used to be a Gerber... but the Leatherman's a little easier to grip since its fatter... but I'll prolly switch back soon... keep things variety-ized ;D

    Hey just got a good deal on a SOG Pentagon Elite 1 in VG10 @ Sportsman's Warehouse. Super smooth! My first SOG, outside of multi tool.

    BTW....really curious about the SALT series from Spyderco. Sharpening, edge retention, do I need a specific shapening system? This might have been addressed already. Apologies and a link maybe??

    I use the Spyderco Sharpmaker (same thing for the rest of my knives). It hasn't needed to be touched up yet, but others use this sharpener as well. Its comparable to VG10 in edge retention from what I hear. A lot also say the H1 steel performs better as a serrated edge. I wanted the SE edge anyway, but I guess that worked out for me. So of course you would only use the edges on the stones to sharpen and not the flat sides.

    My ZT 0500 Mudd came via UPS yesterday, so today it's my main EDC and I have a feeling it will be permenant EDC for quite a while.
