Couldn't bring my Delica 4 or my LM Juice traveling (carry-on only).., so I ran into REI and picked up a Victorinox SAK MiniChamp. With the Black Friday sale + a gift card giveaway, I think I paid $13 total. :woohoo:
over the last two weeks i've become very attached to my Opinel No7 w/ the "green apple" colored grip. http://www.opiknife.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Opinel-No-7-Vertigo-pomme-Folding-Knife
^I like the green handle. I think I am going to paint mine safety orange this week. Mine is my Junkyard dog knife or my Kabar Dozier.
The blade shape on the Tenacious/Persistence/Resilience line is one of my favorites. Anything much larger than the Persistence is not going EDCing with me to my workplace. Sal has said the Persistence has a little brother coming and my pocket can hardly wait.
What is that Long Beach State gear you have there? Back on topic, to the office I carry a Vic Alox Cadet. Away from work I ususally have my Spyderco Sage I with me.
I did the BIG switch yesterday! I now have my Kershaw Volt in my right front pocket. Even though there are under 300 of these knives made, I still will edc it because it is such a well made knife, and the 390 Bohler steel cutting is unreal! I also switched out my Steel Warrior for my Case Humpback Whittler.
At work it is a SOG folder I bought many moons ago that I am not sure they even make any more and I can remember the name of...I use it because my boss recently passed a rule of no pocket knives with visble clips at work. (long story). Off work it is my BM Mini Presidio.
Not my only knives, but the most recent add-ins from EDCFS..... 888 Triple Eight Professional Wright Knife: Boker Wharecom:
Boy Surefire would like to know your feelings about the Wright knife after you've had it awhile if you would be so kind!
I'll be glad to!!! Thus far it's been a great knife, & it will probably became my new "people" knife for those times when the boker ect might look to mean. 888 Triple Eight Professional Wright Knife: Unboxing
