Been carrying my izula for 2 days now.
Kershaw Skyline at the moment.
Kershaw RAM + Quark 123-2 Tactical for about 3 months for now
Benchmade McHenry & Williams 710
been a long time since I've been active here so here goes.
My EDC as of late:
Customized Victorinox Soldier
Will you share some info on this knife and its maker, please?
Well at present I carry a SAK black camper in which I have added a mini screwdriver to it. Sorry no pic yet but will soon.
The Swamp Rat Vex and the Sebenza...
I have been eyeing the Izula for a couple weeks now...that micarata handle looks AWESOME!
Just got it and am carrying it today.
The micarta handle is awesome!
Since joining the forum went back to an old favorite a Spyderco Ti-Salsa and a SAK Pioneer that was rescaled with red g-10 scales.
SOG Access Card 2.0. I dig the compact size (fits in my coin pocket), the flex-free lockup and the VG-10 blade.
At Work: Spyderco Tenacious
At Home: Sog Twitch II
At Out of Home: Sog Flash II or Sog Flash I or Spyderco Delica4. (sometimes twitch2 and kershaw leek get into rotation too)
and revelation i had just today.. in my keychain i have Sog Micron. had it there since i got it from answering SOG query/poll last year. i just dont consider it a knife and havent really used it, just carried it with me. and today as i changed battery in my light on keychain i noticed its precence too. i just realised that its there and it is actually my true EDC knife as every other knife i may rotate and swap for other one per my mood and need, but that is always with me.
Freedom, how comfortable are those handle slabs to work with?
SAK Moneyclip, or Spyderco Dragonfly Plain FRN or SS, or Gerber Truss
It's very comfortable. My only problem with them is i wish they went the entire length of the handle but that's a very minor issue. I like the look of the slabs as is but they would be a hair more comfortable at full length.
that's just what I figured
I'll eventually have to get me an Izula (not gonna happen just yet, I need to prioritize my resources) and I like to research my purchases
Just got one of the new Full Flat Ground Delica 4s in Grey. I love it... never had a knife this sharp out of the box before. I used to be a Mini-Grip fan, but I've converted to the Delica camp.
