I have one of these and it is quite a nice knife, particularly for the cheap price!

Most that know me, know I go through various knives like some movie stars change partners, pretty fast and furious and someone always loses money ;) but today, I have to say I'm really liking this folder a lot. I wasn't sure how I'd be about the way the blade shape is, but I can see how handy it can be and if I needed something to pick splinters out, well, I do have a really nice traditional Case Seahorse handy all the time as well. Some may look down on Cold Steel, yes...it's a Cold Steel folder and I'm happy with that, but I think it's how they do promote their products, super passionate to the edge of being zealous, and you can blame them for that, but the ones I've own, I think they can do just about all that they had claimed. I remember a LONG time ago getting a Recon Tanto and needing to put some drain holes in our burn barrel, I used that knife to stab into the bottom of that 55 gallon steel drum, didn't hurt the blade at all, only later it occurred to me, what if the blade broke, where would my hand end up????? so I didn't do that any more, but it was a good thing for me to see just how well it would handle such abuse and yet still have a great sharp edge and point. But I digress, here is the folder, a real no nonsense kind of knife and it sure arrived sharp and the blade is flat ground down to a fairly thin edge too.

Cold Steel has upped their game a lot this year, from design changes to using Carpenter's steel for a lot of their knives, prices did take a hike as well, but in line somewhat with what you get.

The paracord lanyard I made has a diamond knot spaced about an inch from the end of the handle, I did a whipping around the two pieces of paracord to prevent that from going around and into the path of the blade, and then about 6" further out it ends with another diamond knot. Really works great for drawing the knife out.

So, that's mine, got it just a few days ago,
    G2

edited to add, Nice job on that blade Ken, looks very cleanly done!

My Remington UMC peanut made by camillus in the old days. Good 1095 carbon blades. Watch pocket size knife does all I need of a pocket knife. And I like having two blades ready for cutting.

Here with Victorinox classic for size comparison.
