I see many good looking knives here that have had a scale swap. Is there a good resource for learning to do that?
This thread is probably the best place to find out where to get the scales. If you see something you like just ask the person where they got he scales and they will let you know.
Looking good! Nice to see a classic knife get a little TLC! I guess I should give the old 110 a little polish too...
Just got this beast in yesterday from tmedina! My first ZT. Edit: in regards to today's weather... Was using my new ZT outside to break down some boxes... blade got some water on it, a few seconds later... that's not water you see on the blade, that is solid ice. It's so cold out the water drops froze in well under a minute
This for me today, just in yesterday.......really liking the knife so far, altho' it does need a small mod.......... <<< Even when the world is at peace, a gentleman always keeps a blade at his side. -The Strategies of Wu. >>>
Today's pick: This is my old workhorse. The 806 AFCK (American Folding Combat Knife) Teflon coated D2 blade has been sharpened/used so much it is starting to develop a bit of recurve. I'm amazed I haven't chipped the tip off yet seeing as D2 is tough but brittle. Note the patented 'Emerson wave opener'.
Old school PST, I love it! Oh yeah, nice knife.......... <<< Even when the world is at peace, a gentleman always keeps a blade at his side. -The Strategies of Wu. >>>

I just switched this summer after 20 years from an original PST to a PST II because of the diamond file and the hardwire cutter. Nothing beats the slim package of the PST on the belt. Never changed the sheath though. Basic EDC | On Person Carry | Skinth Loadouts | Backpack | Bail Out Bag
