    Pulled out an oldie for today. Buck Strider that I got for an insane price on clearance at a place I used to moonlight. Nothing fancy but the closest I’ll ever get to a real Strider

    The funny thing about Strider’s is their simplicity. When I got my first one, I was initially not impressed. But I found myself using it all the time. In a whim I sold it. Got a new one and I carry it a lot and will not sell it. Whenever I see the brand popping up, I check if there is one that I could buy. But I was late to the party and now the market is dry. Oh well. Good luck hunting for one, I hope you can score.

    I have been EDCing a Microtech like yours, but with partial serrated blade. Was a desk queen in mint condition and one day said let's give this thing some patina. Anodized finish is wearing nicely on all the hot spots.
