    I've been carrying this Emerson for 2 weeks. First Emerson I've owned that's a flipper and on bearings. Really liking it . I do wish the G10 scales weren't so rough. [​IMG]

    I'd had my eye on getting a Spydiechef at some point, preferably a lightly used one for about $150 (they occasionally sell that low), but after giving the Kapara a good look-over and watching a couple of reviews... I have to say that I'm feeling less inclined on the Spydiechef. Spyderco really did a nice job on this design, so I can understand why it hasn't left your pocket!

    Dont be silly,EDC sort implies that you use the knife and almost none of the knives shown here look like they are ever used to me.

    I carefully (I.e. under water to avoid airborne particulates) sand down the clip-side scales on my Emersons with pocket-destroying G-10.
