While I would get by with just one knife, it's really fun to play with different ones! Bestech Heidi Blacksmith D2 Stonewashed Dragonfly Wharncliffe Endela SE with MXG clip
For quite a few years now, my EDC has been a Leatherman squirt and a small keychain size "pen knife' for lack of a better word. Its been a Victorinox executive, but for a while now I've been carrying the squirt and my old Christy knife. I don't find much need of a pocket knife with more than 2 inches of blade, and if I do, then I move to a small fixed blade like my Buck 102 woodsman or small Finnish Puuko.
It’s really been a change but one for the positive. For 6 years I carried a kershaw chive which I still have as my backup, but I now carry a bugout daily along with a small sak in another pocket. It was by the grace of my kids that I broke the barrier and bought the bugout. It doesn’t snap open with a flick like the kershaw did and so It doesn’t seem as threatening to people around me. The chive holds a special place in my heart And I’m now looking for a scallion to keep with them. Maybe also a mini grip. I need to learn to not go on forums Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Well I bought it almost 20 years ago on the auction site that has been popular since then. At the time all I knew was that I wanted a stiletto switchblade. The blade is stamped Frank B and then under that it says Italy. It’s fit and finish is rough, the brass pins are a bit proud and kinda sharp and the wooden scales are the same. It fires open very well and has minimal blade play, about what I’ve come to expect from an auto. It was in a drawer of my pops for a long time because I moved at one point and didn’t know the laws so I had him hold onto it for me. I recently got it back and now I’m slowly trying to fix it up. I wish I knew more info about its origins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
