I agree there for sure and the last RAT that I bought was from Walmart of all places!
I had flown to an out of town service call and did not bring a knife and had heard that Wally carried the Ontario in some states and sure enough they did there!
    Amazing knife for the price.

Probably the only one of its kind tbh. Frankenstein's HEST/F Urban Triple Night I guess is what I am going to call it. Recently found out the DPX HEST/F Urban Triple Black design had been discontinued. So the company warranty replaced mine with the night rider model, which was a considerable upgrade. Original steel was 154, the same light blade material used in most benchmades. The new blade is CPM S35VN. They sent me back my original scale, clip and glass breaker. I did not like the smooth TI scale as suspected but when I went to fit the G10 scale in, I found out the measurements are different fits between the two models. So I needed to add a Teflon ring into the pivot to add space to center the blade and prevent it from rubbing the g10 scale. Then I had to grind the well of the screw hole for the blade screw to make it fit inside of the hole. Then I had to cut some overlap at the pocket clip fit as well to allow it to fit. Ironically, originally I had wished it had the better steel and some of the issues I had with it have been solved, even after me playing dr. Frankenstein to bring my 3black back to life. But all in all I’d say at this point I’m happy with it. To my knowledge it’s the only g10 urban with an s35vn blade and an OG urban pocket clip which they’ve since abandoned in favor of their more traditional DPX clip design. Below is my lightsaber EDC set up.

Where did you pick up your AD10? I didn't realize Massdrop had a sale on them. Just missed it! :censored:

Thanks. I was feeling like this might be my next knife, but the proportions & weight are a bit much. Feels more like a heavy duty knife, the kind of folder that becomes a "virtual" fixed blade. Really solid. But 6.9oz! It would be nice if Cold Steel released an AD10 Mini, with 3" blade, deeper pocket carry clip, and perhaps weight closer to 4oz.

    Start of a new week:
    • LF pocket, on Pangea Ti Pickpocket dangler: LM Squirt PS4.

    • On my car ignition key ring: a classic, the 'Christy knife'; small knife guys know this one. (See also the company website, https://www.christycompany.net/history-of-the-christy-knife-company). This is absolutely a simple keychain knife: body 3 3/8", blade 3/8" x 1 7/8" x 0.025": 'surgical steel'. Here is a pic from the website:

    • RF pocket, on a P-7 pocket dangler: Kershaw Leek #1660. I love the Leek; I actually have 3 versions. This one: SS frame lock handle; 3" 14C28N wharncliffe HG PE blade -- with a very distinct point; Kershaw 'assisted' flipper.

    • In the '5th pocket': Spyderco Ladybug #LSSS3; steel handle lock back; 1 7/8" HG leaf shaped VG-10 blade, SE:

This is a 'representative' pic; I don't believe the SS handle version is still available. Pic via BHQ

I have the OG model of this when they first launched, I like it in BW but really wish they released that whole series in multiple blade profiles because I am a huge drop point fan and I'm not a huge fan of the drop point options they release. And I hate spear point...with a passion...lol

    Well done sir!

Yeah the Spydiechef is a hell of a knife -- I am a real fan of Spyderco and this is one of the three that I rank (IMNSHO!) as the best; the other two being virtually any version of the Manix 2 and any version of the PM2. And there are SO many in the 'rank' just below these three..!

Use it long and in good health...great companion to any of your G-shocks for sure! ;)
