Got the Waypoint this morning, in the pocket it went, slim, light, aggressively thin blade geometry, sweet action, liner lock, no flipper tab, all wrapped up in titanium and Vanax super clean blade steel! Definitely makes for a really nice 2.78 oz. EDC!

The blade is 420HC; 1.6". This one is just about ALWAYS with me. On my car ignition key ring: a classic, the 'Christy knife'; small knife guys know this one. This is absolutely a simple keychain knife: body 3 3/8", blade 3/8" x 1 7/8" x 0.025": 'surgical steel'. Take your pick. FFG, PE. These knives have been around for a long time; since around 1867. According to Wikipedia they became popular in the US after WWII when returning troops brought these back with them. No idea exactly what steel is used. I have several; all came sharp out of the box and seem to retain their edge well. I dedicate one to use when I eat out - just a simple draw cut through any sort of meat always works. Here is a pic from the website: In a belt sheath at 3 o'clock: Case Backpocket #25783, pattern TB61546 1/2 SS; slipjoint; Barnboard jigged bone 'Kentucky Bluegrass' covers; 3 1/2" skinner blade FFG SS; closed length is 4.625" and the knife weighs in at 3.6 oz - yeah its bigger than most Case pocket knives!
