Got the Waypoint this morning, in the pocket it went, slim, light, aggressively thin blade geometry, sweet action, liner lock, no flipper tab, all wrapped up in titanium and Vanax super clean blade steel! Definitely makes for a really nice 2.78 oz. EDC!

XM-18 3.5 is an absolute tank. Too much for a city walk, I guess, maybe? But when you go hiking or into the woods or wanna stab the hood of a car, it’s what you want.

Start of a new week. Expect it to be indistinguishable from the last week or the one before that or the one before that... :(:
    • LF pocket, on Pangea Ti Pickpocket dangler: LM Squirt PS4. The blade is 420HC; 1.6". This one is just about ALWAYS with me.

    • On my car ignition key ring: a classic, the 'Christy knife'; small knife guys know this one. (See also the company website, https://www.christycompany.net/history-of-the-christy-knife-company). This is absolutely a simple keychain knife: body 3 3/8", blade 3/8" x 1 7/8" x 0.025": 'surgical steel'. Here is a pic from the website:

    • In RF pocket, on a pocket dangler: Otter Mercator K55K, aka 'Black Cat'; steel integral handle with a bail; lock back3.5" SS satin finish blade, drop point? spear point? Take your pick. FFG, PE. These knives have been around for a long time; since around 1867. According to Wikipedia they became popular in the US after WWII when returning troops brought these back with them. No idea exactly what steel is used. I have several; all came sharp out of the box and seem to retain their edge well. I dedicate one to use when I eat out - just a simple draw cut through any sort of meat always works. Impresses wait staff! ;)

    • In the '5th pocket': Spyderco Ladybug Salt LYLS3; yellow FRN handle, lock back; 1 7/8" H1 leaf shaped HG SE blade.

They've got the G10 version at Heinnie.com for a very reasonable price.

Love the Ti version but its out-of-stock pretty much everywhere.

Started carrying a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife on 2007 and have been doing so since. I tend to alternate between a Swiss champ, Explorer Plus, or a Craftsman. Lately it’s been this...[IMG]

    • In a belt sheath at 3 o'clock: Case Backpocket #25783, pattern TB61546 1/2 SS; slipjoint; Barnboard jigged bone 'Kentucky Bluegrass' covers; 3 1/2" skinner blade FFG SS; closed length is 4.625" and the knife weighs in at 3.6 oz - yeah its bigger than most Case pocket knives! Although the backpacket series is still in production this particular one appears to have been discontinued. Pic via Knives Plus.
