Chef, you do carry some of the most beautiful and different knives of anyone on this forum! What is this one - I don't recognize the name on the blade... L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Don't know, you'll have to ask owner. Looks to me like Marcin Slysz, but blade is saber grind... like Rassenti Paysan. Can't figure it out.
Moshe, nice of you to say. That is by Mauricio Dobruski from Brazil. Been getting knives from him since '03.
@Chefget: that pic ^^ I am guessing is only part of your collection.... if I do say so myself, killer! The one in the uppermost left looks like a balisong kris? Really? Gotta wonder what they'd think of it in Indonesia... L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Well, that's pretty much all the Dobruskis...except for my latest balisong by him (below), and yeah, that Kris is superb with a 5 inch blade and 8.5 oz weight Just as a side note, much of the Damascus on the Dobruskis (including the one below, two different types) were purchased from Robert Eggerling in PA and sent to Brazil
A year later and I'm still carrying my Helle Utvaer. I love this knife, and it hasn't let me down yet. The leather sheath I originally made for it was losing retention though so I decided to make a Kydex sheath for it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Eggerling damascus is the most beautiful by far IMO. I hope to own some one day! Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S10+
Spyderco military cf/ti with lyrics on three blade that you clearly can't see... my lady bought it for me two years ago for Christmas.
I recommend checking out his stuff. He somehow manages to be more consistent in his patterns and his designs are just beautiful! Here's a couple of examples I found, these are high end William Henry's. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S10+
