It's a Bean from Serge Knives. Really awesome little piece, and the action is as fast as an automatic. This model with the carbon fiber scale is unique to Blade HQ.

My standard tag-along for the last few years: opinel #7 beech/carbon
Filed and sanded a notch to more easily access the nail nick.
    contoured the tail.
carbonized the handle for longer wear
made a mistake while carbonizing the handle and burned a coal into the tail end
filed down the tip to stop it from poking holes in pockets and legs since the tip was now proud of the tail but 1/16" or so (byproduct of the coal in the tail fiasco).

Where did you find a SAK Explorer with the Gadsden flag motif? I've only ever found SAK Classic or SAK Tinker with this motif. I do have the SAK Tinker Gadsden Flag. But I would like to have others if I knew where to look! :)

I bought it on ebay a few years ago. I haven’t found any recently except on the Tinker. It seems all the recent runs of special scales are mainly on the Tinker and classic, which is why I have a few Tinkers with the scales removed and on different SAKs.

    Start of a new week:
    • LF pocket, on Pangea Ti Pickpocket dangler: LM Squirt PS4
    • RF pocket, on pocket clip: Spyderco Delica 4 Wharncliffe C11FPWCBK; black FRN; lock back; 2.875" VG-10 blade FFG wharncliff PE satin finish blade. This is NOT the Delica Wharncliff as shipped by Spyderco. It was modded by KnivesPlus, removing the 'hump' and given their designation of KP-Delica-63. As you'll see from the pic below, this makes for a more slim pocket carry; almost a Yojimbo sort of vibe. Also means the tip is a wicked fine point -- I suspect the tip would NOT take well to any strenuous prying. :). It came VERY wicked sharp from Knives Plus! fyi; these guys do a lot of in-house mods including both regrinds and handle dye jobs.... I'm only a customer; no other link! I just like what I get and their service!
    • RF coin pocket: Spyderco Ladybug LYLS3 salt; yellow FRN handle with lock back; 1 7/8" H1 leaf shaped hollow grind SE blade.

Nice Moshe ben David ....Just like the discontinued Kahr Arms Delica. I have a combo blade Delica that I broke the tip off and I absolutely love the end result for EDC. It may just be a one of a kind knife now:).

    Mid-week rotation change:
    • LF pocket, on Pangea Ti Pickpocket dangler: LM Squirt PS4
    • RF pocket, on pocket clip: KA-BAR #02-4065 Dozier hunter (collaboration between Bob Dozier and Ka-Bar); black Zytel handle with lock-back; 3" AUS-8A hollow ground drop point; satin finish. This blade has an oval shaped thumb hole akin to a 'spydie' hole for opening. Couple neat things about this knife: it is very light, coming in at just 2.20 oz; and the pivot uses neither bearings nor washers. It's also very slim in the pocket -- only 0.392". I've seen take-down videos of the knife and the blade pivots on molded surfaces inside the handle. Ergonomics are pretty good in my hand! Here's a pic:

    • RF coin pocket: Spyderco Manbug; black FRN handle with lock back; 1 7/8" VG-10 leaf shaped FFG SE blade.

Very nice! If you look on the KnivesPlus website, you'll see they also show a re-ground Delica that is a shorter blade than the one I ordered; labelled as federally compliant (less than 2.5" blade length). Yours looks similar!

I finally "retired" mine to a spare car bag. IMO, one of the best budget knives available. It should get more attention than it does.
