It is switchblade from Czech knife maker Aleš Vondráček, fun fact is that bolsters, pocket clip and back-spacer are made of Damasteel but blade is made from damascus made by Marcus Balbach Handle scales ere made from stabilized mammoth tooth. So now I am a cool guy because I have a switchblade
Finally finished up the MK IV build. Don't usually carry a fixed blade but have really been enjoying this little scalpel Sent from my SM-N960W using Tapatalk

Well, its Saturday night; SNL is into summer reruns; so what the hell. I'll change up my blade carry for the start of the new week now : LF pocket, on Pangea Ti Pickpocket dangler: LM Squirt PS4 RF coin pocket: Spyderco Ladybug salt hawkbill; yellow FRN handle; lock back; 1 7/8" hawkbill blade; hollow grind SE Right front pocket in a leather slip case: Rough Rider RR048-BRK 'canoe'; amber jigged bone scales; 440 SS FFG polished blades: primary 2 1/2" spear point and secondary 2" pen blade. Very happy to report that unlike what I've been seeing lately for Case knives, the Rough Rider is indeed SHARP. And much, much less costly than Case! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Wow! Hadn't even noticed the lil' bugger Ya, it's been raining on/off all week, thus the skeeters are in full force. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
If I recall from some pics you posted, you're a LEO? How does damascus hold up for you, assuming you carry as a duty knife? I'm under the impression that damascus blades have a tendency towards rust for example... L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Yes sir, I'm a police officer in South Florida. The blade is "Damasteel damascus," made in Sweden. They use two different stainless steels, one of which is "RWL34." Here's the story behind it: RWL34 is named after the world famous knife maker Robert W Loveless, January 2, 1929 – September 2, 2010. Bob Loveless or RW Loveless was an American knife maker who designed and popularized the hollow ground drop point blade and the use of full tapered tangs and screw-type handle scale fasteners within the art of knife making. He is cited by other knife makers and collectors as one of the most innovative custom knife makers in the world. Bob discovered the use of the Japanese made ball bearing steel ATS34 from Kobe Steel as best suited for his high demands for a stainless hardenable knife steel. Pelle Billgren the founder of Damasteel was in search for the best stainless knife steels and learnt what Bob had discovered. Pelle was able to transform the already good ATS34 into a superior Powder Metallurgy made steel. Damasteel was the first in the world to produce a powder metallurgy version of the ATS34 named RWL34 after Bob Loveless. Today the RWL34 is made in the world’s most modern powder metallurgy manufacturing facility ensuring an incomparable cleanliness. RWL34 is particular successful product with very high strength and toughness combined with extreme edge sharpness that is easy to maintain. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
