    Start of a new week:

    > LF pocket, on dangler: LM Squirt PS4
    > belt sheath at 9 o'clock: LM Blast
    > Coin pocket: Case Peanut; Yellow delrin scales; #80030; pattern 3220SS; Clip blade 2 1/4"; Pen blade 1 1/2". Usually my small knife is a SE grind -- I like that for any rope or fibrous materials. But considering with my primary I figure I'm covered!
    > RF pocket: MAM 'hunter's knife', from MAM in Portugal. Consider this company, and this knife, to be in the same general 'family' of traditional peasant/workman's knives as Opinel; somewhat similar design as both the Opinel and the Antonini 'Old Bear'. Note I did say 'somewhat'!

MAM has been in production since 1870. This particular knife has a 4" drop point SS blade. Beech wood handle stained sort of dark brown. Overall ergonomics of the handle are similar to the other two except the sides are flat not rounded. Unlike the Opinel and the Antonini the MAM does NOT use a collar lock. Instead it has a basic liner lock. Here again though the liner lock is different from what I (and probably most of us) are used to. Most liner locks the lock bar is pushed to the left (as you hold the knife upside down) to disengage. On this knife, the lock bar is positioned on the right side of the knife (as you hold it upside down) and hence must be pulled to the right.

Needs a pic of Johnny Cash in the background; but don't know if he'd carry one in that color! ;)

Buck 110 has been my edc blade since my dad gave me my first 110 in 1976 and I was on cloud nine to have the same knife as my dad carried in Vietnam. Still sad that the one my dad gave me got lost on a hiking trip on the AT in 1997. Currently on my third one but I've been carrying a 110 for 42 years now and I don't see myself ever changing that out.
Around town and work I also have a Buck Spitfire for light tasks and if I'm gong in the woods I have my ESEE 4 and Izula but no matter where I am ill always have a Buck 110 on my belt.

They have a bunch of color options, including a black on black option I think Cash would have approved of. :)

They also offer it in white scales with black blade and clip. Looks really slick, I could see myself owning a few of these at some point. Always good to have color options.
