What knife is that? I like the handle and blade shape more than a Griptilian?

Sounds generally interesting, although I am not sure about the handle shape and the handle to blade ratio. Plus I am not sure, if one or the other ounce in your bugout bag or rucksack make such a big difference. Sounds pretty gimmicky to me.

Sorry, don't wanna rain on anyone's parade. So let us know how the usage really is. If I am wrong, I'll be happy to admit it.

Uhmmm how's that happening? I mean, when someone broke into my car, they left a foreign coin in exchange for three pairs of Ray Ban's, the radio, and a stuffed bear. But that's a different story I suppose.

No worries, you're not raining on my parade; everyone has different likes and needs. I didn't buy this knife for a BugOut bag or because of its exact weight. I bought it and love it so far because it combines all of the qualities I like in what were my two off-duty EDCs--the Southern Grind Spider Monkey and the Benchmade 940-2. First and foremost, the 3.25" blade length is my ideal sweet spot and that is the #1 factor for me. It has the slimness, lightness, and the general disappear in your pocket feeling of the 940-2, along with its warranty and customer service advantage. It has the blade length, general blade shape, and the short pocket clip of the Spider Monkey. All in one package. For all those reasons it is a winner to me. This will most likely be my only off-duty EDC knife. I'm in the process of selling my Spider Monkey, and it will be mailed off to a new owner on Monday. My 940-2 I'm keeping for probably another week or so just to make sure of my decision before I sell it too.

Yeah, they are hard to get in the U.S. right now, so I'm sure it'll be at least a couple months before you start seeing them across the pond.

Hmm, who could this 'someone' be? A mystery man or woman?.....I'd be asking my wife a lot more questions. Lol

OR his wife has "lost" it? Maybe it's sometimes better not to ask too many questions.

It is a great durable knife. Love mine, but a bit heavy. Comfortable carry, only in a sheath.
