Well you're right, it's not the easier folder to get open, but losening the pivot screw and a couple of blisters later, it opens quite well. I was thinking of flatening a litte bit the thumb stud from the side so it catches the thumb better.
All in all is not the more comfortable knife to use but i really like the aesthetics so i'm gonna keep it around for now

Spyderco PM2, and a Case Trapper in CV or a Vic Pioneer/Electrician/Farmer.

For me it was the position of the thumb stud relative to the pivot screw. If you hold it in a certain way and push in a certain direction it works. But I did not wanna make an act out of opening a knife. Loosened the pivot, oiled it aso. Still, it's the ergonomics that are off. Call it bad design. But yeah, the aesthetic is great.

Maybe the Ganzo G7461 is working better for you then, available in G10 (black, green, orange), wood and G10/carbon fiber ;)

The original is finer in every aspect (clip, thumb studs, axis knobs) but maybe the more chunky China made one is working better for some.

Thanks but I'm fine. Down to ten and two for sale. Can't go lower than eight, cuz four have been gifts and the other four are the trifecta and the PM2 in S110V.

It probably hasn't changed since I was last here but I carry two knives religiously - a SAK Ambassador (for the tweezers, toothpick, nail file, and scissors) and a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian with a replacement deep pocket clip (free from Benchmade if you call and ask).

In the old days (20-30 years ago) it was an SAK Classic and Buck 501 (usually in my pocket but sometimes in its sheath on my belt). I love the 501 but I prefer the easy one-handed opening of the Mini-Grip.

That is a Benchmade 15080 Crooked River, with @Keyman special scales and back spacer.

Key will have to chime in about the exact materials used on the handle, I could guess but would be better to hear it straight from the horses mouth - so to speak
