Well, given that my Spyderco Sage 1 just arrived, you just know it has immediately been awarded a place in my weekly rotation!

So this week: Spyderco Sage 1 PE in RF pocket, Spyderco SS Ladybug SE in change pocket; SAK SuperTinker in belt sheath @ 9 o'clock; LM Squirt PS4 on pocket dangler in LF pocket.

Interesting about the Sage. This now gives me 4 knives that are relatively similar in size, blade length, etc: Sage 1; Byrd Meadowlark 2; Delica 4; BM Mini-grip with modified sheep's foot blade. But the Sage blade is the widest and the thickest steel. Although the Sage and the Delica handles are similar in length, the Sage handle fills my hand a bit better (I wear size L gloves) and is a bit heavier which feels more comfortable than any of the others. Its also the only one with an open construction which will mean easier cleaning.

I could very easily see the Sage becoming a permanent edc blade -- it feels that comfortable. Except of course that (a) that would leave most of collection as 'shelf queens'; and (b) it wouldn't feed my tendency to get bored!

I only wish I had acquired the Sage earlier...! :p

    L'chaim!

Thats what happened when I got the Spyderco Dice, everything else just went into a drawer and has more or less stayed there for 6 months. I make myself carry my other knives but that mostly reaffirms why I bought the Dice. I looked at the Sage for quite a while but it's a bit too big to feel socially acceptable too me.

I've been using my new Victorinox Pioneer X about a week now and I'm just loving it. I hang it in my front pocket using a TEC Accessories P-7 Suspension Clip. Nice!
