I just can not fathom how large that knife is! Could you take a picture with it in your hand maybe?

I had GEC 15 in one pocket and Spyderco PM2 in the other. But now with one more website to check I'll be asleep.

    That's not a pocket-knife, it's a pocket sword! Love it!

That's a good looking gec! What's up with the blade I'm not familiar with the model or is it reground/customized?

It's what is called an "Ancient Barlow" #15C115. Charlie Campagna TC Barlow special factory order (waynorthcutlery.net) from 2015. Charlie has the rights to all the TC Barlows produced by GEC. Charlie wanted to make a Barlow that looked old, and with a style of blade from some really old barlow's. There were three types of handle covers made in the run. I don't think it has an official blade style name, but he said it was close to a Lambs Foot Blade. Bolsters were given a little ancient in the finish that you can see. Blades were left with a little less than normal polishing. This is the only knife that GEC has stamped if I'm correct.

ThaMac and 313: it all balances out. Y'all in Europe get all the cool Alox colors and other variants on Victorinox that we don't even know exist!

    L'chaim!

I wasn't really thinking of Swissbianco. Friend of mine was on a trip to Switzerland recently; said he could hardly walk down the street without seeing Victorinox shops/dealers. Not a surprise. It IS their home turf!

Yes, important to remember that europe is more segmented than the us. Think Norway is as far away as Israel when it comes to getting hold of those elusive Victorinox goodies
