    Totally like the look of the Pohls, but I am as much uncertain about the blade steel. Usually I like something like S35V, Cruwear or S110V. How is the blade holding up?

    It's made by Lionsteel and its their D2. Holds an edge extremely well. If you check out Blade hq's steel chart d2 is top 5 in edge holding beating out many "super steels" As the knife came new not very sharp but since I put my edge on it the performance has been great.

    Old Paragon ATKO 4. Around 1996(?) vintage. I replaced several parts, including an unfinished blade from the factory after they went out of business in their first iteration. I made a horizontal sheath out of a magazine carrier.

    Now I am a bit confused. I know D2 and like it, but I thought they use CTS-BD1. Well, maybe depends on the model.
