I've had this Persistence in my pocket since I got it 4 months ago. I love the blade shape and how versatile it is. Sent from my squiggy device using Tapatalk.
Great, there's another Gemini enabler now. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to hold out.
It's like I put in a reason box why I don't want anymore daily emails from Knife places. I can't generally rub two nickels together so it really doesn't matter HOW good a deal something is.
Looks kinda like a piece of skateboard tape to help grab it quick...i had a little piece on the back of my old barrage, it clipped so tight and was a little slick to try to pull out sometimes ok wayyy random piece of info. my wife and i bought our first house(shack would be a more appropriate word, but it was home for 2 years)....it came to us later through several different sources, that our house was apparently the dwelling of the original kilroy, he lived there with his wife and 5 kids. so the legend goes, that the source of the kilroy doodle was that he was a steel worker at the quincy shipyard. workers got paid by how many rivets they did in a day, and so at the end of the day each worker was supposed to sign their name on the hull of the ship at the place where they finished each day, and the next shift of workers would come in and start from where you left off, and then a payroll person would come in and tally up who did what work. well apparently there were certain dishonest workers who would come on shift, and erase the previous welders name, move it back a couple rows and forge their signature. hence stealing credit and pay for part of the work done by the last worker in that area. so kilroy came up with his own distinct signature and drawing so that it would be harder to steal credit for his work. hence over his career, countless ships bearing his mark in hundreds of places started spreading all over the globe, and it caught on.
Here and I thought you meant Hertz33's avatar... Personally, I think together with the knive(s), that would do a great job for ZT!
@0009hrs HI time, it's this...my trusty KeyCom with ARC light. YES...it's a knife I sleep with. Well, one of them anyway! Don't mind the scales...tried to do my logo "dots" GITD and failed.
Picked up a 2010 Spyderco Swick 2 sprint run NIB. Great design, superb ergo's. Now I need to find a sheath maker and someone to make scales maybe wood or micarta. Swick 2 with custom Micarta scales which I would like to have made: Swick 3 (had a Wharncliff blade shape) with custom wood scales with a blue liner.
awww snap dude social distortion!? i had that skeleton on the bumper of my beater volvo when i was 16 man!
So, for this week: primary: Spyderco Tasman salt. Complementing it: Case small Texas toothpick with white scales, LM squirt. On keychain: ever present SAK classic. In bag for murdering apples, etc: Opinel No.4 olivewood handle.
