When my friend helped me moving I always had a knife when we had to cut something (of course).
Once I asked him, why don't you carry a blade when you see how usefull it is? The answer: You never gave me one ;)

So I hope this will be my friend's edc knife soon. It's not expensive but I spend some hours in making the blue glassfiber scales, to
shorten some round-head srews for the scales and to add a hidden and movable lanyard pin (I don't like those wrapped around lanyards or useless holes if it's used without one).

Nothing at the moment. (please don't hit me:)) as I am heading for the shower after a long day on the oil platform. It's on shore being built not off shore btw, so don't get confused when I say I'm in my garden;)

You are going to love the GB .
I've had mine a few months now , and if I'm truthful it has kind of killed my knife buzz lately because its so good all my others can't compete .
I carry it at work exclusively paired with a SAK Farmer .
My other knives have now become my weekend and after work knives , but even then I can't help but find myself comparing them to the GB .
I've owned a lot of Folders , including Sebenza's etc and the GB out shines them all for my requirements . Gayle Bradley himself said it was designed specifically to be a working knife , nothing more , nothing less , he was 100% correct .
You made a good choice .

    Ken

Today it was my large Sebenza with Micarta inlays.
I've been on a bit of a rotation this week, I've also been carrying my DPx HEST, My Benchmade Griptillian 551, and My Manix 2.
I think the HEST is going to get a bit more rotation time in future, it's a nice knife, very robust, the only reason it's not been more of a favourite is that it turned up in the mail on the same day as the Sebenza and went into the knife box.
