So it's taken a long time, but my Glock 26 was finally dethroned. In fact, I sold it. Since buying my Walther PPQ, I've started to carry it. I sold the 26 to order a few things, one of them a Garret Industries Silent Thunder holster for the PPQ and also to pay for more martial arts training since money is slim nowadays (I train in Muay Thai). I love the PPQ.
Still carrying my Glock 23 and spare magazine. I soon will acquiring a Walther PPS 9mm for something a little thinner for the summer.
Just bought my first M&P. Got an M&P 9C and I absolutely love it. Better fit than the Glock 26 and it hides very well in the 330 position. M&P 9FS will be my next purchase. Jim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mostly it's a Glock 26 along with a spare mag. When I can wear a cover shirt it's a Glock 17 and a spare mag. When it's really hot, it's a Taurus TCP738 along with a spare mag.
Keltec pf9, 2 spare mags. I work in retail, so need to maintain a discreet carry. Carried a NAA Guardian for years. A glock 17 first gen in the '80s. Very bulky and heavy. Also a Grendel P10. That was a great, cheap, compact .380. Would love to have one again. Forewarned
Recently got a Ruger LCP. Been carrying it more than my SR9C, especially now that it's getting warmer and sweaters/coats are coming off here in New England...
You might like the LC9, which is a 9mm but only lightly larger than the LCP. It shoots like a dream for such a dinky gun.
not fancy but I carry a Smith and Wesson 5946, couple years old, several. It's a 9mm, brushed metal finish. Tough as nail and runs incredibility strong.
I recently picked up a Ruger LCR chambered in .22LR that I will put into my carry rotation in the near future. Actually, it's only the second handgun I own that I would carry, so it's only now a "rotation". I added the XS Standard Dot night sight since the regular front blade sight is almost impossible for me to see. I know I won't be doing any long-range precision shooting, but the dot makes it SO much more visible. Plus, if the missus wants to shoot it, it will be much easier for her.
Just lounging in the house today. Wayne Novak accurized custom Browning Hi-Power very similar to this carried in a Mitch Rosen ARG and loaded with Federal's exquisite C9BP cartridge. With this handgun/cartridge combination, I can cluster combat shots at less-than two inches at 25 feet.
Did you have a chance to shoot this yet? I've always fancied a little .22 wheelgun and the LCR in .357 that I checked out seemed nice in the hand (never shot it though!)
