Currently running a Sig P229E2 in a handmade custom leather holster by RGrizzle. It has a paddle attachment, works great. Perfect retention and fit, harder to conceal than my Crossbreed IWB, but during the winter its not really a problem. Also have a Sig P226 Enhanced Elite with a Streamlight TLR-2, that I'm waiting on a holster for. Don't think it'll make it into EDC rotation, but maybe special occasions during the winter or for range trips if I feel froggy enough to OC.

Just purchased, its about as good as it gets for a legal handgun here in the UK.

Going to use it for a bit of Target shooting and plinking.
It's a lot louder than I imagined it would be!

A real cartridge! No one ever believes me when I say that the 40 is just a bastard cartridge of the 10mm till they do their research. Which size frame/barrel is the 29? How the recoil? Also ammo prices?

And not to insult and .40 carriers at all! It too is a great round

I've been carrying either a Ruger LCP or Walther PPK.

I applied for my CPL four weeks ago, so I will hopefully be receiving it in another week or two. When I do - I will be carrying a S&W 39-2 9mm - the only handgun I currently own. I am looking to purchase a .45 compact or subcompact soon.

That 39-2 will do well in the CCW role! It's flat and fairly lightweight. As long as it feeds hollowpoints reliably (mine didn't like Silvertips or anything over 115 grains) I'd say its a great choice for concealed carry. Stay away from +P/+P+ ammunition; it'll beat the gun up. Do carry one extra magazine though; better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Usually it's Dickies work pants when I'm on duty.

While off duty, if it's above 55 degrees, I wear 511 style shorts. If it's below 55 degrees, I usually wear Levi's 550 jeans or Key overalls.

Everybody says that the Glock 27 is too big for pocket carry. Yeah, for the average Joe, it probably is. But at 6'3" and close to 400 pounds, I could :censored: near hide a Howitzer in my britches. ;D
