:censored:! Talk about a small world! TKC, I know Mark from the Powderhorn very well. He sold me my first Glock 23 when I worked for Y.P.D. I also bought a nice .45 from him that I carry quite a bit. Didn.t know there were any other "M:censored:s" close by. Didn't know Peter was from around here either.  O0

:) when I do carry.....its a glock 19......I stick it inside pants at waist, take up a notch on the belt
and it stays put. I like the Glock(s) because they work and you can easily change trigger pull and
even add a extended slide catch yourself real cheap....load it with Federal

S&W 340PD .357 Magnum. No snags, no stovepipes - five for sure. You can carry it your pocket and shoot it in there. ;D

Either one of 3 depending upon dress and season. P3AT clipped into right front pocket with Glassers or magsafes in summer normally, or in dress clothes. EAA Witness compact .45acp or 9MM East German Makarov in fall and winter in Shado behind the back rigs.

If hunting in rifle season my EDC carry/hunting choice is my custom Ruger Redhawk in .44 mag.

My current edc handguns are a Ruger SP101 in an  IWB holster during warmer months . When it's colder and I'm wearing more/heavier clothes I sometimes carry a Ruger GP100 in a belt holster . I'm still trying to find the "right" holster for both guns . I have A Bianchi for the GP100 that sqeeks when I walk and a cheap uncle mikes IWB for the SP101 . I carry revolvers because I trust them more than semi auto's - no jambs , stovepipes . Some people have said that I should get a semi auto pistol because it holds more ammo - need more in case you have to shoot it out with multiple bad guys . I figure that if I did find myself in a situation where I was up against multiple BG's I'd probably lose out no matter what sort of handgun I have . Only Clint Eastwood wins in a shootout with multiple BG's . But I'm thinking about getting a Ruger 45acp because I always wanted a 45 . Maybe if I do get one and shoot it enough I'll change my mind about trusting semi auto's .

    Here's mine:

    Springfield 1911A1 in .45 caliber.

I got it because it had everything I wanted already installed, including night sights.

It's also easy to operate and maintain, the trigger is very crisp, it balances well in my hand, and it's accurate enough to "do the job" at 50 yards or more.

Here's a pic, sorry for the poor quality. The other gun is my Sig Sauer Pro 2009. Nice piece, but it's just a plastic wondernine with a big magazine. Quality-wise, reliability-wise and usability-wise, it's no match for the revolver.
