It is the 900 lumen mod, i never runit for more than a minute or so and rarely on high. I'll try to get to it tonight though.
Yes, the 900 lumen model. With a fresh 16340 in after about 2 minutes 45 seconds at its brightest setting it got pretty hot.
I'm tired of buying boxes of CR123 batteries so I went and picked up this little AAA Mini Mag LED. I'm really impressed with it. I have several incan AA and one other AAA incan Maglite. This little LED Maglite is an amazing value for $14. AAA incan vs AAA LED

Why on earth are you not buying 'chargable batteries. I have at least 5 different kinds on the charger at all times
Jag-Stang, I carried a Mini Maglite AA LED for years as my EDC light. Great overall, and for the price, it's impossible to beat. I don't know if you carry a handkerchief or not, or if you even carry it the same way as I do, but I was able to find a really easy way to carry the flashlight using a handkerchief. I always have a large, red bandanna in my front left pocket, and I would put the flashlight in beside it, next to the seam of the pocket, and then I'd tuck the lanyard I had on the light into my pocket along the top edge of the bandanna. This would create a 90 degree angle with the light and the lanyard, which kept it from falling out, or slipping to the bottom of my pocket. Here's a pic of the light and how I'd carry it, if it helps any.
USMA_Hopeful I stared with a MagLite Solitare years and years ago, then upgraded to the AAA incan, and carried that for years. I have always had a few incan AA mini mags around the house and vehicles. Then I discovered Streamlights and carried a PT1L for years before I lost it (I think it is under my house from my last excursion under there.) I have also carried my SL PT2L for about a year, until I gave up on buying CR123s. It keeps getting accidentally turned on. I think my belt pushes the clicky, then I end up with a hot pocket and dead batteries. I still have to keep a box of CR123s around for my Malkoff that is mounted on a firearm and my dog's e-collars. I might get that new MagLite Pro+ AA and try to EDC it with the pocket clip. We'll see about that, but for right now I really like this little AAA LED MagLite. I have always been a sucker for MagLites and SAKs.. started carrying them back in the early 90's.
The Photon Freedom covert is a true EDC light for me, but I also carry an A0 very often. Other honorable mentions are the i3S and S15.
My current EDC rotation 72hrs must pass before a person may be considered missing, longer if they own a Jeep.
