Fw3C w forced patina “The rights of conscience, of bearing arms, of changing the government, are declared to be inherent in the people.” Fisher Ames
I know right, forced patina w Vinegar and sea salt has some great colors. I used a few teaspoons of sea salt and vinegar 1.5” in a sealed jar with the light suspended above the mixture for 48ish hours. Then you can seal the patina in w beeswax or lacquer once you have the patina the way you like it. “The rights of conscience, of bearing arms, of changing the government, are declared to be inherent in the people.” Fisher Ames
The Acebeam TK16 has lived in my pocket for the past several days and I've found it to be a pretty good choice for EDC. Probably the smallest light I own, about the size of my thumb, but remarkably bright at 1800 lumens. The UI is pretty straightforward and easy to get used to. There's shortcuts to moonlight, turbo and strobe and a regular low, medium and high sequence. It's a unique light in the sense that most in this format are single emitters, side switch and about 600 lumen max. The TK16 shakes things up a bit and utilizes 3 LEDs, a tail switch and a choice of Cree, Osram or Luminus LEDs and over 1000 lumens in all of its configurations. Of course, small light means small battery and a 16350 is not going to give you any sort of prolonged run times, but with conservative use you can at least get a few hours before a recharge is needed. Definitely recommended if you are looking at something like an Olight, but want a bit more punch.
It's a great light and each of the emitter choices are unique and different. The copper version looks really nice and there's a good chance a titanium one will be released too. The regular black aluminum one looks great as well.
I have zero interest in the copper and think the black & gold look pretty cheesy too. The Ti on the other hand seems worth waiting for to me! I just got the BLF F3 in SST-20 Yesterday too and I think I am a fan of the emitter now big time so maybe will get it that way when the Ti is available? So many lights to try!
This is what I thought too, because I wanted to buy this light and couldn't believe the updated version doesn't have a switch. So I will just keep on using this: Gesendet von meinem SM-G950F mit Tapatalk

I've been curious about that one. Kind of similar to an aspherical lens type beam? Please post your thoughts once you have a chance to use it. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S10+
In a nutshell - amazing but with a few cons... Pros: 1. Ridiculously bright and super long throw (2kms and more) 2. Super sturdy construction 3. Reasonable price 4. Small concentrated spot and beam Cons: 1. Small concentrated spot and beam (if you're looking for something to light up a neighborhood this isn't it. The narrow beam and spot are a pro for me but most people would be unsatisfied with it) 2. No holster! Anything I've seen that will fit it didn't have a flap to shield the lens so it's carried carefully until I find something suitable. 3. Non standard 51700 battery doesn't fit a lot of chargers. Has it's own micro USB socket for charging but most chargers can't accommodate the extra length and they're $20 for a replacement or spare. Am I happy with it? Absolutely! Will other people be happy with it - not as many as you would think.
Loving this little fellow, been running it with the 18350 tube since I got it. Skickat från min SM-N960F via Tapatalk
Agree. I had it accidentally turn on on me as well. The ring plus switch is one of the reasons I like the Nitecore SRT-3 and love the HDS Rotary. The switch also adds the option of what level the light comes on at, vice only turning on at low and having to go through the entire range if need higher.
