Just got a emisar d4 and was supprised how small it was and going to try it as my edc, I love the ramping up UI and build quality is brilliant .
And the 18350 tub is tiny have yet to try it as waiting to order battery
The Emisar D4 is a great little light, I have one in titanium with the Nichia 219 and it is a lovely light. Runs hot as hellfire on max but I've found the extra power quite useful at times. When it's running on a more "normal" level it runs perfectly fine, especially with the copper heatsink on mine. The weight of the D4Ti is definitely a consideration, it is not exactly pocket friendly. And that's coming from someone who regularly carries full size 18650 lights in his pocket. The weight is about twice the weight of my Zebralight SC600 and also heavier than the Fenix UC35 or the Thrunite Tn12.
Still love it, but it usually ride in my bag when I EDC it. Also, don't forget to lock it out. Having a high powered flashlight is cool, having a hole in your pocket or bag because it accidentally turned on isn't.
Bored keep power 18650
Dropin Sportac triple nichia
Moved-up to an 18650 Maratac for EDC:
The Emisar D4 is always on my belt in the kydex holster I made.

Nice holster! I'm not a huge fan of belt carry for a light, but the Emisar is well-suited to that method of carry.

Still my toolVN. Its a lumitop tool that's been modified to 700+ lumens with 5 modes, it's been very useful with the moon lighting as I get off work late and chose to be the dog poop picker upper, but also the 700+ finds humor in blasting the opposums on my gate, you should see their face when i light them up.
My other EDC the Nitecore Tip. It's a tossup which is better. So I alternate. The Olight is super small and simple. But the Tip is a bit more capable with 360 Lumens. Both are solid options for everyday carry, especially in terms of neck carry.

Mostly just throw this combo in my pocket on the way out.
Just got it so changing up a bit. PEAK Eiger in copper with Nichia High CRI.
Danglin' from my TEC P7
Lately I've been trying out my new Olight S1R II NW along with my HDS Rotary 250.
(The Olight is now my main light, while I have the dimmer HDS for longer battery life.)
(Also,on work days,I put my 350-lumen Black Diamond Storm in my backpack for hands-free light, while walking to work..)
This one is too big for my pocket really but I also can not stop carrying it!
Very nice-looking light, brother. What is it? What kind of optic?
Its an Emisar D4S!
Look it up and I dare you not to try one!
I know you might have 1 or 2 chargers that will work with it too.
Very cool! I picked up a Grey D4 with Nichia 219Cs, from Mountain Electronics, back in February, and it's one of my two main EDC lights, when I want something super compact. I usually carry that in a small Sunwayman V11-R holster, by my iPhone (can hardly tell it's there), and the Mk II L2 on my Left, front pocket.
I love the interface on both lights, and the tint on the D4 is absolutely beautiful.
Here's a review on BLF, for that D4s:
I may have to grab one of these . I like that it runs on a 26650 battery. What kind of cell are you using to run yours?
Thanks for the heads-up!
I agree. It's so tiny, I can hardly tell I'm carrying it! I keep on my belt, holstered, right behind my iPhone 8, and it feels like it's not even there.
