cheapo hugsby xp-1. Think its a knock off but still decent light and plenty bright for AAA. Hard to complain for 5 bucks.

Kev2488 I still love my little D25C. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. How 'bout the glow in the tailswitch, huh??

Yeah I like it a lot better than my aluminum D25c even with the neutral xml2 but this Ti and Nichia 219 just blow it away it has a good heft to it. And I like the glow especially when you are out in the sun then walk inside and your pocket is glowing.

Oh I feel for ya. That is very sad. I hate scratching up any gear, much less NEW GEAR. (or very good gear) I dinged up one of my flashlights this summer. I dropped it on the concrete walkway. So I know that sick feeling. Luckily my light wasn't one of my newest ET's! I used that light that fell, to take the dogs out with. It scratched it all up too. Still works, and that is the main thing.

That is THE most frustrating feeling.. Brand new piece of gear, then bam!.. Hits the floor and a huge scratch on it. It's sort of a blessing in disguise cause once you get that first ding, you somehow feel more comfortable using it as a tool as it should be used and gets you past the babying stage quicker. For me at least

Yeah it is frustrating and as you can see in my earlier post I used it today cleaning a dirty indoor AC coil that had smoke and cat hair and funk in it and nasty slop in the drain and after the first ding and the huge disappointment that it's not perfect anymore it then becomes your normal everyday tool...just in shiny titanium and GITD green

Kev2488 Haha.. I love super beat up and used, yet top quality tools. Can't wait to get my HDS nice and broken in fixing an old swamp cooler or someone's sink drain...:(

I work in HVACR and I use a light all the time. I go in nasty crawlspaces, attics and all in between. Out of all my lights my HDS is the only one which over the last 4 years I've used the most and abused it the only one that has almost no scratches on it and I'm hard on my stuff.
