Quark Titanium AA, w/XP-G R4 Neutral White mod and a new 4Sevens deep-carry pocket clip that I removed the black paint from to match. And this little guy has been on my keys for well over a year now, but is soon to be replaced with a stainless steel 4Sevens Revo And if going out at night with ample pockets, I'll generally grab the LX2: Here's my LX2 undergoing a demo of water-proofness:
I have a Streamlight Microstream in my pocket at all times and a Streamlight Nano on my keychain. Also have a Streamlight pt 2AA in my Organizer.
just started carrying a olight i15 and a maratac aaa (im 17 so never thought of carrying a flashlight before) i now use it as much as i use my knife! also my flashlight occupationally will start making a high pitched buzzing sound and flicker slightly when i turn it on. is that ok or should i sent it in?
I haven't left my house in the last 2 years without my Surefire E2D LED Defender. That torch has been with me through hell and back. I wouldn't trade it for the anything!
Nothing special, just a Streamlight Stylus Pro. It's served me well so far and still going strong. Would like to upgrade to a smaller light, though I'd like to stick with something that uses AAA-batteries.
It's called inductor whine. Does it do it in all modes? Try changing the batteries. Mine did it on some primaries, never on eneloops. It won't damage your light but it can be annoying. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=281277
4sevens Preon I model. Single AAA, multi-modes, pocket clip, quite small. No clicky switch though. But you can order a Preon II switch, and attach that onto the Preon I. I have a Preon I modified that way. Works great.
After a few small single cell lights seemingly very good (to my inexperienced eye), I took the plunge on a (pre-owned) McGizmo Ti High CRI Mule. Didn't even know what this was not too long ago. As a nearfield light it's my new EDC. Very nice floody light. Virtually no hotspot. It's a one trick pony but what a great trick! I'll have to see (no pun intended) if my enthusiasm lasts. Nice light though. Rob
Zebra H51for me. I just got My daughters there first lights. A pink Mag Solitaire and a red one. Colors were requested.
No worries. If you decide you don't like it you'll have a very easy time selling it over at the Candle Power Forums MarketPlace.
I've been carrying my new Gerber Infinity for the last few days and it's still pretty good for a very 'old school' light. Think I'm going to go back to my Stainless iTP A2 though, the range of light levels is just more useful to me.
Fenix Ldo1 + Microstream = FenixStream this is my new edc light super bright and so tiny in my pocket Streamlight Microstream is only 20lumens single mode and Now with Ldo01 head its 85lumens 3mode Medium-Low-High
