Haven't posted in this thread for quite some time, so I figure it's time for an update! Currently carrying an HDS 170T CN /w Moddoo stainless steel clip.
while not at work, I carry a streamlight microstream, at work I carry a fenix tk10 and a streamlight PT2L But as of late I have been looking into some of the lights I've seen on here and a few blogs and I feel some purchases coming on.
It used to be a Maglite or a cheap LED of some sort and then got out of the habit of carrying one all the time. Now I am back on the right track and have a Fenix LD20. Which is the best light I have ever used. May add a PD20 and one of their keychain lights soon. Which I have found several sites selling the Fenix lights but don't know what the official site is or if there is a better place to go to get them. Any ideas? Thanks.
I carry a streamlight stylus pro and a streamlight microstream right now but saving to get a 4sevens Preon 1 and buying the clicky switch accessory.
This is the McGizmo Lunasol 20. it is not made anymore (it was a small two run batch) and does quite fine in a wet and cold environment. I carry the predecessor to it, which has nearly the same external design and have used it under pretty much every adverse condition I have encountered in daily life and travels.
For the past 6 months it has been nothing but a 4Sevens Preon 1 clipped to my shirt pocket everyday, everywhere. Yesterday my cousin called from a gun show and said that an Olight rep was there selling their lights as a good price. I had him pick up a T-10 v2010 for me. Comes with a very compact belt holster that is on my belt as we speak. Nice little light and pumps out some serious lumens.
Rifleman, check this out. Word of caution though, you will get sucked in and it'll cost you. Post some pics of your first acquisition.
I have looked at those lights before, the are very cool. I would be worried I would loose it and I wouldn't be able to replace it.
Right now I am rockin the Streamlight MicroStream clipped in my left pocket. I had a Scorpion light for years that I lost somewhere. I hope the new owner is putting it to good use. I am looking for a new one though with more power and have got a great starting point from this thread.
Thanks for the link Zungle, I've visited the forums before that's how I found out about EDC forums actually. There are tons of options out there, I know it's easy to get sucked in but I'm going to start small. Looking for something to replace my mini-mag lite, thinking maybe a Quark Mini, as nice as they are I don't think a McGizmo is in my ballpark. I have too much kit to spend that kind of money on a light right now. In the future maybe.
