Today, mine is the little one, pictured here.
Xtar Meteor OK little light.
I am pleasantly surprised by the battery run time of the Quantum DD. I have had it for a little over two weeks and this morning was the first time I had to charge the battery. I bought three because I thought they would not last a day or two.
Quantum DD and kryptoglow DpX
I will get a E1B next time.
I picked up the E1B a while back and carry it every so often. I would like to carry it at work but just afraid to lose it, so I carry a Fenix PD22 to work. On my days off or around the house I carry the E1B. I also added the optional tail switch that allows it to tail stand.
Talking about that, something bad happened. The contact spring on my Surefire G2X dropped off. I can't fit it back! what should i do!? That was my first SF!!!
UPDATE: Phew. I managed to fix that by pushing the spring back to the switch.
I'm having trouble finding runtime information elsewhere. What has your usage pattern been over those two weeks? How high do you run the light? I'm on the fence about this one, and it would help to know how long I could expect the light to run between charges.
Yeah, it has a 8min runtime on high... I rarely find need for the highest output so I usually use the lower output so it did last me two weeks of continued use on one cell.
I've had mine for a few weeks with the same battery. I play with the high every once in a while, but generally since it's not my primary light I rarely use it. It's more keychain jewelry. I have a second coming just because I want a backup in case something were to happen. You never know when the DD will sell out and if there will be more.
$60 for this guy is a great price. I remember finding out about the Ti version selling for over $200. Before the QDD came out, people were selling the original SS 40DD for around $200 too. There was a point where I considered buying it at $200. Boy am I glad I waited. The QDD is fantastic. Small and ready for trits. Buy it before it's too late. You know kripto and egrep probably have 10 each!

The incendio I got from gnarly.
Gonna try the 18650 Body soon
Here is my new V11R with his partner in crime my Alan Davis Custom.
Next to my BC10.
The BC10 is a hair longer and it's wearing the RRT0 clip. Overall the SWM has a better switch and is a little more attractive. It also has a LED twice the size of the BC10 I assume so it can handle RCR123's. The 190 output on the V11R is comparible to the 270 of the BC10.
A new EDC arrived today .... a TRI-V
How much was it? I remember this cost a bomb!!!
My trusty SolarForce. Been with me for about 1 year now. Can't imagine being without her.
erm .... too much and I am not looking forward to the import duties that the UK customs will be chaing me for either !
lumapower incendio v3u xm-l t6. i'm generally not a clicky guy, but i love this thing.
