There is a thread asking about your EDC firearm and another asking what your EDC knives are, so I wanted to see what others are carrying around for illumination!

For me the size of the light depends on the weather. The more clothing I have on the larger the flashlight I will lug around! Tonight it's a Surefire M3 head with a nice LED crammed into it on an M4 body with a Z48 switch and a Titanium bezel ring.

Let me know what you like to carry, and pics are always appreciated.

Crappy pic but you get the idea!

On duty I carry a M20 Warrior as my primary light - with a Fenix P2D as a back up light.

Off duty, it's either a Surefire L1 or L4 in my coat pocket, with perhaps a P1D-CE on my belt.

Dog walking at night, it's my Fenix L2D-CE. Guilty free lumens with AA batteries... just keep it on for most of the walk.. :)

On my keychain, I have a maglight solitaire that my sister gave me years ago (looking to upgrade to an LED torch soon).
In my bag I have a generic 12 LED torch which runs on 2 CR123 batteries that I won in a competition. Labelled "SWAT"
In the car, I have a small LED generic torch in the driver's map pocket. In the boot I have a twin fluro lamp (arlec brand, I think).

I used to have a photon ripoff on my keyring, but it got smashed.
I have one of those forever torches in my bob/camping bag, and a 6 D cell mag light next to the bed, but they aren't what I'd consider EDC.

    Nitecore D10 for me.

I lanyard carry. Just leave it hanging inside a front pocket clipped to a belt loop.

One of the best lights I ever bought. I use it several times everyday.

I carry a D10 also...best light I've ever owned! I also have a Fenix L0D clipped to my wallet as a backup, and keep a Surefire 6P along with a couple extra torches in my vehicle.

I carry two small lights. One is always a Surefire Titan:

The second one is 'the light of the week' which I alternate quite often among the latest ones. Currently it is a Nitecore EX10:

Zebralight H50 Q5, and a Fenix L2D-CE. (I might replace the L2D for a LD10 if I get a bit less broke. but that's not gonna happen soon since I have other priority buys.)

    A true coincell flashlight.

I'm sticking on Fauxton since six months, now. Cheap, reliable, powerful. I'm just sad I'd overlooked the Nichia variation.

I carry a SF E2D with a KL4-BK head on it. The luxV emmiter has been replaced with a P7 ;D I never thought I would go back to EDCing a 2 cell light but this one has converted me. I like the tailstanding abillity of the tailcap so I can light up a room if I need to and have both hands free. I also use the fauxton type keychain lights for low light situations. I've seen stars several time from reflected light off of machined aluminum at my work to appreciate the keychain light :lolhammer:
