This was done by the previous owner. I think he used nail polish.
It's neither insanely expensive nor cheap, from a maker with a good reputation, relatively light, and at least minute of bad guy at speed and plenty accurate for the size if you take your time.
I like mine...never had a real problem.
Still....probably going to upgrade soon....just trying to decide whether it's worth 5 times as much for something I realty want vs. something that will work just fine. But it'll still have a place as a "can hide anywhere" ccw.
My 938 and it's big brother
Not my gun, but like my gun. Ruger SR9 black.
Hopefully going to get some work done to mine, something like this:
Current carry gun is a S&W M&P40c... I had an LCP for pocket carry, but sold it and all my .380. I'm transitioning to 9mm. I just bought an H&K VP9, but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I'll think I'll be picking up either a Shield or P938 as a replacement for the LCP.
switching things up a bit with the sf...
Kimber Stainless Ultra TLE II (LG)
Gen4 Glock 19, XS Big Dot night sights. Carried in a Galco kydex holster, with a G17 spare mag in kydex, front pocket.
Hornady Critcal Defense, 115g.
What I generally carry everyday. Kahr P380 w/ Big Dot front night sight, loaded with Hornaday 90gr FTX ammo, factory extended 7 round mag, DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster, DeSantis Mag Packer mag carrier, Cold Steel Voyager, Streamlight Protac 1L light, Inova keychain light, regular old pen, and of course my IPhone which I am taking the photo with. I usually carry the P380 and on occassion I carry a Gen 4 Glock 17.
Cheap, reliable and effective.
I made a few changes to the Glock. I understand why so many people drink the Kool-Aid and pair this with an AR. Both are almost stupidly easy to take apart and repair.
In the matter of five minutes I put in a Glock extended slide stop, LWD extended takedown lever, Vickers Tactical extended mag release and an ILoveMyGlock stainless steel guiderod.
like the grips on bodyguard.
Can't wait till I can add to this thread. Working on my permit paperwork now and then I have yo choose a gun... I'm thinking a XDs 9 or a Kahr CM9...
She's still the one!
congrats on ccw. I have a pm9 that occasionally makes it into the rotation using a mtac or remora.
That xds 9 is pretty sweet. I like the trigger. I haven't shot the Kahr.
