A SAK-like knife. On a side the blade it is written C.JUL.HERBERTZ AISI 420 and on the other is a serial number : 2986109.The blade is twice as thick as that on my Victorinox Spartan and has a lockback system. It only has knife blade, woodsaw blade and corkscrew but it's pretty cool.I like the wood inserts and the brushed stainless steel. Other than that-a universal phone charger that also doubles as a data cable.Useful.
A USB to to phone cable so I can charge in the truck and a pair of Pilot V5 RT refills because my carry pen is down to 20% or less of ink remaining.
I bought myself a wee Leatherman Style PS - hopefully a great accompaniment to a larger blade, and ideal for places that are not overly fond of knives.
that is probably the craziest thing (that is saying a lot) i have ever seen on this website. you do terrific work, though. a $5000 desk clock. i do not even know how i should feel or what to say about such a thing. i would love to see all your other work.
maybe to put together IKEA furniture? are they the two sizes that are on a standard IKEA offset Allen?
My mistake, I've used Hex when I meant Torx. Hex/Allen are interchangeable. The two standard sizes are the two Allen keys that are already on there. I worked there for 6.5 years and spent half of that as the guy who ordered all the extra hardware that gets handed out at the returns desk. I never once saw anything that needed a Torx.
Hehe, dont worry... I wouldnt dream about destroying any proper watch for something this dumb The dial is of... erm... 'chinese' origins and the backdial is just white plastic with lume paint Hands are the one that came with the movement (which is pretty cheap and loud btw) so this little baby didn't set me back too much.
It's nice of you to admit the origins of your watch. I also think that doing it your way is much smarter than using the real deal. Eitherway, I still love your project and the alarm case looks amazing. Nice work.
I got a cheap spork and a little travel sewing kit and very cool, a card game with useful phrases in Japanese, French, English and Spanish. I'm looking forward to use it on my next trip to France, because unfortunately I don't speak any French at all.
Just received some Ti Beads in the mail! They are sweet! Put a polished one on the Para2 right away. Saving the Anodized Blue for the Yellow MiniGrip I have on the way.
nice beads. some nice ones on blade forums just popped up. i may have to grab one. they really look awesome!
I have to say I was very happy with them when I opened them up today. I am partial to the polished Ti, but the Blue anno'd one is pretty awesome. Gonna grab a few more of these soon. Shoot me a PM if you want the guy's info I got mine from. Glad to forward it to you.
I just got a new pocket rocket Tom Kuhn yo-yo, the Northern Lights edition. Here's my whole collection of mini yoyos. Quarter inserted to show sizes.
