I still have one of those! Makes a good compact comb for a latrine bag when camping

I used to love these as a kid.
Once I pulled the comb out and replaced it with a plastic knife from a fast food place (just the 'blade' part) and thought I was b a d a s s. I was wrong.

I had one of those combs too. I believe it came from a circus trip when I was visiting family in Mexico.

Ah the childhood memories! My cousins used to bring them back from Gatlinburg.

Hey HybridMomentsPass, why didn't I think of that when I was a kid? I would have laughed at you, but I would've wanted one, too.

Yup, I had one as well. I recall the construction was beyond crap, and often it would only open almost all the way. Cheap novelty I quickly outgrew.

Just got a brown Spyderco Paramilitary 2 from knifeworks.com. I must say the brown is really nice.

I have a couple of those in "stainless" (aka silvered plastic) from a few years ago when I worked for them.
The flat, philips and two allen keys are appropriate, but I always wondered why they included two torx keys.

    Hey fellow St. Louisan.

I have to say this is my favorite Para 2. I have a black/black version and had a plain jane black handle / satin blade. This one is just like the rest: meaning it's great. Smooth action. Sharp as sharp can be. The brown looks great. It's just a tad darker than the photo.

Love the oversized Spyder hole and the compression lock, if you haven't handled one, is one of my favorite locks. Locks up tight and is fun to play with.

If you want to see one in person (not the brown scaled version but a Para 2) go over to Grand Prarie Knives in Troy, IL (just off 55, near some construction so don't get turned around like I did) they have a few in stock. Their prices aren't bad but if you want the brown you'll have to order from Knifeworks, which is in Louisiana. They are SUPER fast with shipping. I ordered this at 1:00 p.m. on Monday and received it today at about 2 p.m.

This will be my new desk-clock! Also has a simple alarm function, don't you just love matte black?

you converted a Panerai to an alarm clock??? Wow...

That must be the most controversial thing I have seen around here for a long while, but it looks excellent and you can be sure no-one in the world has another one :))

    beautiful job!

Finally received the Droid Razor Maxx in the mail. Freakishly fast for a phone. Great battery life (so far). It actually sends texts from places I could never send them before because of "dead" spots. I think that it will be time for a new phone by the time I learn all of the things this one does!
