    New Knife

Not sure if this qualifies as EDC since it is more of a costume piece than a utility blade. I found the knife in the mulch during an event last weekend as a "fair find". I had a custom sheath made for it so that I could wear it as part of my working costume. It has a 4" blade of surgical steel and has a nice balance and weight to it. Definitely is razor sharp. I keep it peace bound on my belt, but it has already come in handy cutting cord during the day. Much as I like my folder, it didn't fit in at work. This one definitely does.

if you carry it, it is EDC ;-)

what, if I may ask, is your line of work where a folder is out of place but a Peter Pan dagger isn't? (no offense :) )

I'm an artisan and one of the places I sell my wares are renfairs. You are required to be in costume to vend. So no folders unless hidden and frowned on if seen. Too modern. However a dagger or sword is not only acceptable, but encouraged.

Went to Target tonight to get some soda and a loaf of bread. But also got a handful of items for my BOB:

Short roll of duct tape. (Soon to be re-spun on two Dave & Buster's cards with no credits on them.)
    2 Green Glo-sticks.
2 Packs of Wet-Ones travel wipes (20 wipes in each one).
1 Travel-size cylinder of Advil. (Perfect fit in the tiny upper-middle slot of my County Comm XL BOB.)

I recently picked up 10 (5 red/5 blue) Cyalume Chemlights cheap on Ebay. For under $10 shipped to my door, it was a pretty good deal..

Just bought a 500ml titanium water bottle and several tiny, titanium whistles.

I already have a titanium bail wire for the bottle.

Will post some pics next week (when I have my phone camera to laptop lead).

Where did you get the Tiny Ti whistles from? I've been on the hunt for one.

+1 with pics please. I always like tiny gear to go on the keychain and these whistles sound tiny!

Easier than eating sweet, sweet, pie. Here ya go! . . .

(I've ordered from them before. Quality Ti whistles in more than one size. Excellent customer service.)

Had a Cold Steel Pocket Shark delivered to me today. It's a lot larger than I expected, 'pocket' is a bit of a misnomer. Oh well, it was one of those impulse buys.

Not really a gadget, but hopefully it will be an EDC item for my girlfriend. I bought an engagement ring.

I have not seen this at Lowes. Do you have an item number for it? Where is it located? Would love to get some!

Work EDC that I just purchased off of Amazon because they have a free battery offer:

    3/8" M12 Hammerdrill
    1/4" M12 Impact
    M12 LED Flashlight

Overall a hardcase for each of the drills, one charger, three batteries, and the flashlight will fit in one of the hardcases.

I already own x2 chargers, x2 batteries, x2 soft cases/bags, 1/4" quick chuck drill, and Hackzall.

I now own all of the following M12 tools and accessories:

    1/4" Drill
    1/4" Impact
    3/8" Hammerdrill
    LED Flashlight
    Hackzall
    x5 Batteries
    x3 Chargers
    x2 hardcases
    x2 soft cases

I think the next tool will be the oscillating tool or rotary tool.

Thanks! She's out of town right now and I'll probably carry it with me for a little while after she comes back, but I'm pretty excited!

    Thanks cubegleamer!
