I could not afford it, but I just bought a Spyderco Sharpmaker too (well, it's on order). After researching the best way to hone at an accurate angle, this looked like it will do the job. I have a Leatherman Surge and a new Mini Griptillian that have SCARY shape edges, and I just don't want TO RUIN the blades (like I always do) trying to freehand the correct angle. So, what do you think of your new purchase?
I can't bring myself to buy an Edge Pro Apex sharpener just yet so the Sharpmaker is still on the short list with it. Your reviews will be nice to read.
Zebralight H501! Awesome headlamp. I ordered it from Zebralight and actually got it in two weeks. I figured it would take 3 weeks at the least. Parawolfe

Eagletac P100A2 flashlight. Love it for its simplicity...uses 2 AA batteries (widely available) and three modes (momentary on, general and turbo).
Can you do a DIY thread on rescaling a SAK in carbon fibre. Always wanted to do it but never had the confidence to just dive in with no instructions.
I just received a Schrade Extreme Survival knife (2" blade). It seems to be made well and is fairly sharp. The handle is aluminum with a non-slip insert.
It's not an automatic, but I'm pretty sure it can be made into one pretty easily. It locks up tight . No idea on the blade steel. Cost was just under $30 shipped. First impression: decent knife for the money. The model is: SC50B.
I'm working on another as we speak, ill see what i can whip up, ill put the link to where i got the materials, its easy but the one thing you really need is patience! JR
Atn Golden eye 8x. Extremely small daytime monocular. Has really good optics considering the 45mm/1,8" lenght. I took a picture with the monocular in front of my compact digicam. Max zoom (3x) on the camera makes the total magnification 24, and the quality of the shot isn't exactly the same as looking trough the GE with just your eyes, but it gives an idea.
A SS Valiant keychain pen with refill (the titanium version already have got), and SS McGizmo clips at "domestic" J.S. Burly's Shop. Some tritium vials from B@rt at CPF Market.
