I lost my Wenger "Soldier", the Wenger equivalent to the Vic "Cadet". I was at the shooting range and used the screwdriver to adjust a rifle scope. I must have left it lay there. A week later, I went to the park office on the off chance that someone turned it in. No luck. :(

I lost my pen and a 4" adjustable wrench that ride in my MT sheath. I had to get a new pen and wrench. Improvements have been made.

"Liking" y'alls posts in sympathy for the stuff you lost (except for Wazu013, since his was a happy loss). For me, let's see:

    1. I lost my mind ... but, recently I found it again, just like Westerdutch.
    2. One of my favorite Marine Corps covers (that's a hat, by the way).
    3. A folding umbrella, although my wife and I are fairly certain that my Mom "needed it more than me" one day.
    4. A starter pistol that I had when I was in high school on the track team ... and, that's over 50 years ago.

Late reply -- just saw this.

Nah. You didn't lose anything. It was ransom for your freedom!

A ransom that I don't regret. I went from living and working in the dreads of Buffalo,NY to living the dream sitting on my patio with palm trees and a sea breeze on the Gulf of Mexico. Don't get me wrong, Buffalo is a wonderful place with great people but Dunedin,Fl is playing on another level. :)

There is a Zebra F-301 hacked with a Fisher Space Pen refill hiding someplace in my house. It went covert after I found my black Fisher Space Pen bullet hiding in my black office chair. My EDC does these exercises to keep me on constant alert.

I lost a good luck charm that a friend made for me. He made it for my 28th sober Anniversary.

That blows. Nothing hits as hard as losing something with sentimental value.

Lost but will never be forgotten, like the reason behind the charm. It's much easier to make a charm than to make a 28th sober anniversary - outstanding.

Several years ago, I lost an older incandescent 2 D-cell Maglite. Although I still had physical possession of it, it was still effectively "lost" due to leaking alkaline batteries. So it might as well have been misplaced, because I was equally bummed out about it.
