The weapon on my nightstand is the pistol that I just took off. I have a single shot .20ga by the front door for a snake gun but everything else, except for my carry pistol, stays locked up in the safe.
For the past 27 years, my bedroom/home defense pistol was my Ruger P89. It was ugly and heavy, so I just relegated it to home defense. Since my wife just passed away, and with all that's going on in the US, I figured it was time to upgrade. So I went to Cabelas to trade it in with the intent of getting something like a Springfield XDM. Well, you know selection is a bit limited these days and there wasn't one available. So I instead went with this Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 with 5" barrel. I added a TLR4 with laser sight to it. Now it's my bedroom/home defense gun, along with a shotty of course. Too bad ammo is so expensive and limited, so I haven't had the chance to train with it yet. I'm saving what I have for home defense.
What model Walther is that? Sitting here in the hospital waiting room trying to identify it. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
This is an old picture, but I’ve never felt the need to change a good thing. I have other options but this handgun and knife combo have been my go to for home defense for years (G17 2005, Endura 2007) I have upgraded to an led light and a new shoulder bag (although the old, much more worn bag is still around). Colt Python 357 and a Walther PPKS .380. And if worse comes to worse, a Mini 14 with four 30 round magazines. If I'm going down, I'm going down returning fire.
We keep an MPX SBR w/form 1 suppressor in a drawer bedside. It’s more the wife’s for if I’m not home. When I retire for the evening my sidearm is on my nightstand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
@deadgame Here is a link to some tutorials on using different photo sites: https://www.edcforums.com/forums/faqs-how-to.98/ Personally, I use imgur, but Flickr seems like a good option, too. There are others options, too.
