When something goes bump in the night ,or in my case when the twin 4 legged alarms alert. What do reach for as you exit the bed to investigate? For me it is a custom 870 loaded with buckshot

My sig 238hd ,nite stand . Close by a Henry steel in 357 loaded with 125 grain hp. If someone gets in my house they will wish they hadn't. Jake
It was a bit of a decision about my AR 15 or 12-gauge in the bedroom. AR is under the bed, 12 gauge and old school M59 9mm is in my office.
Sig P320 with Romeo red dot and Inforce light. Surefire light next to it. My nearby long gun is an AR that I switched to from a Mossburg when I realized that I just do not shoot shotguns often enough to be confident with them for situations. Once the COVID mess slows down, I plan to add an AR pistol in 300 AAC and finally get a stamp and suppressor.
