I'm sort of new to the whole EDC thing. I have a Maxpedition Fatboy GTG and a few other odds and ends. I love their products, but are there any other top quality companies besides them and say 5.11 that manufacture EDC bags, pouches, cases etc...? Thanks in advance for the input!

    I'll add to the list:
-Tactical Tailor (or their outlet/discount site, Grey Ghost Outlet.)
    -Tactical Assault Gear
    -Blackhawk
    -Eagle Industries
-Tom Bihn (not tacticool, but very EDC friendly)
-Uncle Sam (No joke, shop right and you can get discount pouches for all the PALS webbing! But you have to like either camo or coyote brown as the primary colors on your pack.)
-Supply Captain occasionally has limited-run items from various companies. I think he's also dumping his AITES inventory (did AITES go under?). Doesn't hurt to take a look.

You can take a look at Triple Aught Design (aka Tadgear) for Pouches and some bags. Zulu Nylon Gear is a good one.

Well, you’re asking a question that has already been asked and answered numerous times.

People take the time to let others know what is out there and give their impressions of what they like and what they think is good.

If you can’t be bothered doing some leg work to delve into a forum to answer a question, don’t be surprised if people don’t fall all over themselves to answer a question for which an answer already exists.

It’s like these generic “what kind of headlamp should I get” or “recommend me a multi-tool” questions. Questions that get asked every few months, questions that could be answered with using the Search button, or spending an hour or two delving through some earlier threads.

Mystery Ranch and Kifaru are a couple of others that come to mind.

Go to a surplus or military sales store and try some out. So far I am actually happiest with the Maxpedition even if they are a little more expensive.

    Tactical:

Er, no one mentioned 5.11 yet? LOL!

    Tyr Tactical

    Grey Ghost Tactical

Hazard4 is slowly making their presence known.

Gregory's SPEAR line is confined to the Japanese market. I very much like the "Go Bag" and shoulder bags -

Other than the packs and one top-roll bag, GoRuck hasn't yet fully launched their products yet.

Disse Outdoor Gear is very new to the market as well.

    Contemporary/Stylish:

    Killspencer

Briefing Bags are another Japan only market, but wow! I really do like their military-inspired designs.

Millican bags of England are made of canvas but look cool and seem to be well-made.

    Hope that helps. . .

Spec-ops, kinda pricey IMO. They have good clearance sales though.

EDIT: looks like you beat me to it

AWESOME!! Let's relax and enjoy the forum. I understand what you are saying. It's funny how people are replying to the question though. Some people like striking up another conversation on an already mentioned topic. A forum would be boring if people couldn't chit chat back and forth with each other don't you think. May as well use a search engine if thats the case eyyyy?!
