Cheers bcWRX-02, it came from a Portuguese shop that has brick and mortar satellites in Spain.
I suppose if you google wood tray Edison lamp, you will find similar ones
Edit, I spotted a few with an old style switch on them. Sweet feature! Time to add that to my one. :)

I just use a little 6 inch diameter stainless steel bowl. It leaves a small footprint and was quite affordable online.

Living in a one bedroom apartment with someone for a year makes for a challenging closet situation. I decided to give all closet space to my fiancé, and use a free standing unit that amazingly was under $300 from IKEA. I designed the inside configuration to meet my needs and well....I love it! She's happy, I'm happy.[IMG]

Forgot to add....there is a drawer and a pullout shelf, which is what you see all my EDC gear on.

Yeah, that tray looks super handy. I'm trying to think how I could do something like that in a larger closet. Thanks for sharing!

Way to compromise! Sounds like things are getting off to a good start with you and the fiancé. ;) :cloud9: :p

I'm cleaning this old organizer up and plan to put it to use for my small but growing collection. I'm thinking I might line the bottom of each section with felt to help stop thing from moving around and provide a little cushion. Any other suggestions? I'm big on organization and would prefer not to just have knives and lights just stacked on top of one another.

Your comments and guidance are welcome.

    Thanks Mates!

Just came in here to tip you about a cheap alternative from IKEA. (It's called Rissla)

It's actually not bad, and I might even carry some of my work-stuff in these in the backpack for easy removal :)
1 big box and 2 small boxes included.

Hope this has not already been posted. I did not read all 67 pages.

Car key, sunglasses, and chapstick usually get thrown into the abyss that is my handbag, which leaves me digging for them the next morning. It's mildly annoying, but I always forget something if I lay it out on the dresser or other countertop.

Bought a divided wood tray for the mister, but he prefers to dump his wallet, keys, and coins galore on the kitchen counter as soon as he walks through the door. About once a month, he'll call me from work saying he forgot his wallet, undoubtedly buried under scraps of mail. I'll then come home that evening to a spotless kitchen counter :p

How have I not heard of these until now? Thanks for the great idea! Time to reclaim my bedroom armchair...

I've seen them referred to as a "valet stand" or "butler" in various places. Good luck and enjoy!
