Bear in mind! I am no artist and this was drawn freehand on the bus!

But it's just a sketch of my initial idea :)

And another with a piece of leather for small pouches and such :)

I am humbled, I just dump my stuff into a bowl on a shelf in the home theater setup.

A cheap little, 3 drawer, plastic Sterlite unit that I picked up in the office supply section of Walmart for under $5. Works very good for the purpose, I might add.:) Takes up very little room, and is a nice organizer. Previously I used the Maxpedition "Tactical" Travel Tray mentioned earlier, and it is okay, but not nearly as neat and organized as the 3 individual drawers that are self contained, and a more efficient use of the space. I use one drawer for my daily EDC, a second for my cellphone at cellphone accessories, and the 3rd drawer for miscellaneous stuff.

I have a couple of those. I added some silicon mat to stop things sliding around in the drawers.

I use one of those black wire mesh baskets found at Walmart or Office Depot. Usually found with matching pencil holders, paper clip holders, etc. I've even seen similar ones at Dollar Stores. Mine's 6"x7"x2" and sits by the back door.

We have a big drawer full of crap.

Unfortunately, that's where everything goes at the end of the day.

Not as fancy as Antithetik's, but I have a nice men's valet box that holds my pocket ballast and the few pieces of jewelry I own.

If you want something that's reasonably secure, there are travel valet cases, and men's jewelry boxes and chests. These are anything but effeminate with black lacquer, dark leather, or dark wood grain finishes. None of the padded pink frillies you get with a women's keepsake, and beats a plastic shoebox by a mile.

EDIT: I can't post a link to it, but it's the Mele Davin Men's Dresser Valet.

My EDC Pocket Carry gets dumped on a staind glass plate my Wife's father made on my bed side table.

Usually a metal lock box but im toying with the idea of turning an old locking briefcase into a storage systems. Toying with some plans right now. So in our walk on closet I have a section set aside for my gun safe, and on a shelf above that I keep a briefcase which holds all my EDC Gear thst is not in use

Call me old school, but, I just do the same thing I have done since I was a kid. Everything stays in my pants, which I drop on the floor in my closet. Next day, put on clean pants and swap everything over LOL. From there if I decide to make a change, then I do so.
