I'm a Honda Element man. I love the functionality of my Element. My bike riding needs are served by my Specialized Expedition. I'll have to see if I have pictures of either of these.

I could have sworn I already posted in this thread once, but maybe it was somewhere else...

I'm another bicycle commuter, but my commute is fairly short, so I only ride maybe 50-60 km weekly. My ride is a 7-speed Helkama Kulkuri. Pretty basic, but it's made in Finland (except for the parts that say Shimano, I guess).

    Hi ian,

Many people find the Element to be a bit "funny" looking, but I really like it. It's a matter of function over form, I guess. I know I have some pictures around here somewhere, but I couldn't find them. The only photo I could find that contains a partial photo of my Element (at least you can see the color) was one I took during a camping trip last year, just as my camp was being overrun by munchkins...only one of which was mine. Can't find any photos of my bike, but it's the same color as the Honda.

Isn't the Honda Element the one Top Gear liked? They took one to a bowls club? Remember?

    I drive a W reg Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Club. Silver. It's a bit poo.

My wife and I more or less share a Toyota Tacoma quad-cab. She's a night nurse so the truck sits in the hospital parking lot at night and in the lot at my shop during the day.

    But This is my baby.

I've actually got nine on the back, but I don't need anything like that really. I'm debating whether to lose two of the three front rings but keeping nine at the back. I do wonder if it wouldn't be easier and cheaper in the long run to just buy another bike though. ;D I was eyeing your 'dale up until I saw the date of manufacture...

I think that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me on the internets! Cheers! ;)

    @ YellowHammer.

    I like your office door.
    Many, many Clavos'.

I only mention it because I run a custom door shop and that is a very awesome door.
Is your office in/an old church?

I drive an '04 Ford Escape XLT, it's navy blue. Really like it. In the snowbelt in Northeast Ohio AWD is a requirement.

Here is a 'smaller model' of mine for sale, it should be less the 30Lb shipping weight .
    http://www.firstflightbikes.com/SM500.htm
I posted the model of mine incorrectly, It has a much longer down tube therefore a longer headset tube .. http://mombat.org/1986_Cannondale_SM600.htm
Mine came originally with the 6 sprocket rear cluster and more sealed bearing options ..
My pleasure sir ! It's not so much the brands that you use,it's the way you go about using them ,)

    BE WELL .. GH

I love it and I was extremely thankful for it this past winter. Had to drive through several inches of snow on the road; because my road and the other roads on my way to work usually are not plowed. The gas mileage took a bit of getting used to since my past two vehicles were cars but its a trade off I happily make. It's long overdue for some external modifications though...

2002 Acura TL...love my black beauty but high maintenance cleaning wise to keep her sexy. She's been very good to me though just usual oil and tire changing.
