Picked one of these up: Got her custom tuned. Plan on getting the engine built and upgrading the turbo. Shooting for 500/500.
Moshe, It provides a heap of sleeping space which is good as we usually travel in groups of four or five vehicles when we go exploring off-road. The camper built onto the truck is perfect for just myself and my son. But when the Handbrake comes along or we are with the group its great to have the trailer as it has all of bells and whistles and is built to take a beating. Here is a picture of them popped up without the accessory awning and annexes deployed. With the trailer setup as a basecamp we have an additional awning that we can attache that provides a considerable amount of covered space and allows other tents to dock to it which is perfect for cold weather trips allowing everyone to exit their private space into the main covered space. If my plans to make it work succeed I will be able to back the truck up to one of those spaces where a green accessory tent is and have it docked to the main tent. For a better idea of what I'm talking about here is a video of a similar 2016 platinum model like mine.
@G.T.: very impressive! I see you are working to penetrate the US market and I wish you great success. I'd bet there are other markets which might also be fruitful. South Africa? Certain countries in South America? Maybe even China with growing middle class-- I've seen articles highlighting AWD clubs there. All the best! Moshe ben David
Just put new wheels and tires on my Tundra and took it for a quick day trip to go hiking yesterday. Gotta say, the Cooper ST Maxx tires are awesome.
Love the ST Maxx so much I have them on my Tacoma, LandCruiser, and my camper trailer now. When the wife 4Runner needs new tires it will get ST Maxx's as well.
^ Love the ST-maxx's as well, Have a set on my FZJ-80, my truck/truck will be getting a set soon and the only reason they are not on my wifes new T4r is they are not made in the size I wanted for it. They really are a great tire for almost all situations
2013 Civic sedan. I have a CB radio (Uniden Pro520XL and Wilson 1000 Trunk Lip antenna with Astatic 636 microphone) installed and keep a get home bag and standalone jumpstarter in the trunk. I also have a bicycle floor pump, a bike rack, and a helmet in the trunk. ETA: My last vehicle was a 2005 GMC Sierra crew cab. I needed a commuter when it came time to replace it (engine oil system failed and damaged the engine without me knowing about it- never threw a code or a check engine light; I always changed the oil properly), so I went with the Civic. However, I miss having a truck bed to haul stuff in desperately. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
