not much of a collector of anything. I was never really into having things just to look at. maybe because i never go in to anything enough to be happy just looking at it. i do enjoy seeing other persons' collections. it's like a mini-museum!
in that case, I guess I collect gold/stocks. I put 5% of my paycheck into stocks, and try to buy a 1 oz krugerand every year. it's fun to see my wealth accumulate, but it's more or less a rainy day fund, not a hobby
Collect... not much of anything. I buy most any interesting "Alice in Wonderland / Through the Looking Glass" related doodad though. Toys, books, etc. Some of it can get REALLY expensive...
in terms of knives i buy what i like, some of them are users the rest are there to admire. i do collect one specific kind of slip joint though. the Melon Tester/Citrus Tester/Sausage Tester/Fruit Knife/Sausage Sampler/Fruit Sampler. there are many names for them but basically they are a very long spear point or modified sheeps foot blade used for cutting a piece of fruit or sausage to taste. i'm a bit behind on pics of my collection but here are a few:

I collect Zippo lighters. They are not just for show though as I rotate them out for the most part. There is one that does not see use at all, an old trench lighter. It was my grandfathers and he carried it in WWII. It has a dent in it from shrapnel that otherwise would have embedded in his thigh. He managed to pull the dent out enough to keep on using it until he passed away. My father gave it to me on my wedding day.
In terms of knives, mainly Spyderco. I like the variety of what they offer and they are just great knives. I have about 3 or 4 that I carry a lot, the others are out for use around the house. I used to have a ton of LED lights, but I recently pared that down to about 5 (big step for me).
I am a music collector. I haven't counted my CDs in awhile but it is probably around 700-800. And overall I have close to 145,000 songs. I also have a good size movie collection of 800 or more. Still have to get around to watching them all. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
